Constructed from a super rigid body with fast moving rapids the SW series offers an extensive variety of tooling configurations, a sub spindle complete with 15 degree indexing and a Goodway barfeed unit as standard. The addition of back working live tooling, thread whirling and polygon machining unit options ensure the SW series can accomplish both today and tomorrows most demanding machining needs.
Fully enclosed guarding keeps swarf and coolant contained to provide the optimal clean and safe working environment. All spindle and servo motors are Fanuc Alpha i series to ensure peak machining performance and accuracy.
Class C3 hardened and ground ball screws ensure the highest accuracy and durability possible whilst pretension on all axes minimises thermal distortion.
The auto lubrication system delivers metered amounts of lubrication to the slideways, ball screws and vital components ensuring maximum longevity for your SW series sliding head lathe.
