GS4000S Series

Goodway high performance turning centres are designed to provide continuous production of precision parts as a result of rigorous testing and the inherent design of the thermally balanced Meehanite bed casting together with NSK precision spindle bearings and ‘machine active’ sensitive slide lubrication system. Featuring super rigid 30 degree true slant bed and box slideway designs, the Maximum Performance level turning centres offer multi-tasking abilities. The GS4000S sub spindle series offers a 8" size sub spindle in addition live tooling, CS axis and Y axis options are available to further extend the machining capabilities.
Fanuc controls and Alpha i motors and drives are used throughout with the option of the conversational Manual Guide i programming function. All axes motors have Absolute Encoders providing instantaneous axes position knowledge on power-up.
Coolant tanks are separate to the machine casting to afford ease of fluid changing and cleaning.
