Ecoca - SJ-20HT

Ecoca CNC lathes are manufactured with an ergonomic modern design to provide ease of setting access and convenience of control from a well placed operator panel with physical knobs and switches for speed and ease of use.

All models employ Fanuc Alpha series motors and drives on both axis and spindles. Fanuc 21i TB series controls are used and include the latest flat screen LCD displays. A comprehensive range of Fanuc options and programming features are included as standard, sufficient to cater for the widest range of work profiles. A swing down tool setting probe is supplied as standard affording rapid tool setting and a minimum of production interruption time.

The machine frames are from a cast, non-fabricated construction with THK NR series linear guide ways. The NR series offer high rigidity and better anti-damping properties while the Fanuc motors provide high rates of rapid traverse and a repeatability of 5 microns.

An 12 position Baruffaldi servo motor indexing tool turret is mounted on a 45 degree inclined X axis slide offering good swarf evacuation from tools having a 16 x 16 mm section. Coolant is supplied from a separate external tank which enables easy cleaning and is delivered by a high pressure Grundfos pump.
