Ecoca CNC lathes are manufactured with an ergonamic modern design to provide ease of setting access and convenience of control from a well placed operator panel with physical knobs and switches for speed and ease of use.

All models employ Fanuc Alpha series motors and drives on both the axis and spindles. Fanuc 21i series controls are used and include the latest flat screen LCD displays. A comprehensive range of Fanuc options and programming features are included as standard sufficient to cater for the widest range of work profiles. Swing-down tool setting probes are supplied as standard affording rapid tool setting and a minimum of production interruption time.

The machine frames are made from a cast, non-fabricated construction, with hardened and ground solid slideways. The ‘solid slide’ design offers increased rigidity and load bearing properties while the Fanuc motors still provide high rates of rapid traverse and a repeatability of 5 microns.

A 12 position Baruffaldi Servo Motor indexing tool turret is mounted on a 30 deg. inclined X axis slide offering good swarf evacuation from tools having a 20x20mm section. Coolant is supplied from a separate, external tank which enables easy cleaning and is delivered by a high pressure Grundfos pump.
