YCM - FP-66A

The FP66A – H has been carefully designed and produced with the most up to date advances available in mechanical and electronic technology. The main frame of the machine is cast from Meehanite utilising a gantry design.
The dual walled high quality castings and design of the major machine elements ensure high rigidity and accuracy when performing high speed machining operations.

All axes incorporate Super Duty IKO Linear Guide Ways and million-pulse/rev high resolution encoders for positional feedback. Hardened and ground ball screws are precisely pre-tensioned at both ends, supported by angular contact thrust bearings with directly coupled high response AC Siemens Drives, giving outstanding positioning and repeatability characteristics, exceeding ISO 10791- 4

The FP range of machines with the uniquely designed IDD spindle directly coupled to the motor helps to reduce thermal distortion and potentially increases cutting tool life.
