Goodway - GLS-150

Goodway high speed turning centres are designed to provide continuous production of precision parts as a result of rigorous testing and the inherent design of the thermally balanced Meehanite bed casting together with NSK precision P4 spindle bearings and ‘machine active’ sensitive slide lubrication system. Offering high speed rapids & short spindle acceleration times, the GLS series are ideal for reducing cycle times on medium duty applications. Two spindle sizes with four turret options combine to offer a versatile, flexible range.

Fanuc controls and Alpha i motors and drives are used throughout with the option of the conversational Manual Guide I programming function. All axes motors have Absolute Encoders providing instantaneous axes position knowledge on power-up. Most spindle motors are reversed into the machine frame to afford the minimum of machine footprint and floor space. Coolant tanks are separate to the machine casting to afford ease of fluid changing and cleaning.
