GROUND GRANITE: PROVEN TECHNOLOGY
ELBO presetting machines boast the advantage of
having their base and columns made of ground granite.
Granite allows reaching flatness accuracy within + /- 4 microns, as
structural deformations are negligible even in case of ambient
temperature variations and / or great humidity. This translates
to a further guarantee of accuracy, considering that the production
area where temperature ranges vary greatly is where the presetter will
reside. Testing and laboratory tests prove that ground granite is
insensitive to hunidity and / or temperature changes

BASE
AND COLUMN
| AXIS MOVEMENT | SPINDLE |
* Made of ground granite.
* Accuracy / flatness 8 microns / linear metres.
* The faces of the prismatic guides, which are made of ground granite,
ensure the accuracy of the movements for X and Z axis. This
technology is used in 3 dimensional measuring machines as it is highly
stable in time.
|
* Axis movements are manual and have 2 modes, rapid and micrometric adjustment.
* The rapid movement is used for approaching and moving the collimator away (Panvision or single-gauge)
* The micrometric movement is used for tool profile collimation and for measurement acquisition.
* The rapid / micrometric movement is identified by two two-colour
pilot lights (red / green) that are located in the horizontal carriage
of the preset to improve visibility.
|
* Spindle body is assembled on roller cages: it grants run out error equlaaing less than 3 microns.
* Intercahngeable rotating inner part with couplings for: ISO/BT 30-40-50, VDI, HSK.
* Spindle index in 4 angular positions 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees (only VDI).
* Maximum tool weight 50Kgs.
